Besa Imami

- (August 8, 1928 in Gjakova) - Albanian actr ess. Her father was a teacher, he also encouraged his daughter fr om childhood to recite poetry. Due to ill health, his father, the family moved in 1937 to Tirana, where the father died soon after , leaving his wife and 5 children. During the occupation, B. Imami participated in the resistance movement, acting in the organization Debatik. Besim her brother was killed during the war. After the liberation of the country in 1944, she joined the office of public records.
